Densa (Italian Hot Chocolate)

Ingredients

• 3 tbsp. cocoa powder
   
• 1 1/2 tbsp. white sugar
   
• 1 1/2 cups milk
   
• 2 tbsp. milk
   
• 1 tbsp. corn starch
   
• Loacker Quadratini (Dark Chocolate, Chocolate, Hazelnut, etc.)

 

 

 

Preparation

1. In a small bowl whisk until smooth, 2 tbsp. of milk together with the corn starch
    
2. Stir the 1 1/2 cups milk into the saucepan until the sugar has dissolved. Place over low heat
    
3. Slowly bring the mixture to a low simmer
    
4. Slowly whisk the corn starch slurry into the cocoa mixture
    
5. Continue cooking, whisking continually, until the hot chocolate reaches a pudding-like thickness, 2 to 3 minutes
    
6. Garnish it with Loacker Quadratini Dark Chocolate!
